FYI--Graduating in August

I feel a little guilty posting "me" news on the "family" blog, but I wanted to spread the news that I will be graduating in August! I handed in a complete draft of my dissertation to my committee on Friday, and I will be defending the dissertation on May 5. Yay!! Graduation is August 8th, for those who want to mark their calendars! ;)

Welcome, Friends & Family!

This blog, originally titled, "Baby & Toddler Tales (and a Big Brother!) Blog," started as a site for news about our new baby (Isabelle), our toddler (Helena), and big brother Phelan. I started with highlights from fall 2007, birthdays & cute toddler antics, and stories of the arrival of Isabelle in November of 2007.

Now, Isabelle is getting ready to enter Kindergarten, Helena is going into 2nd grade, and Phelan--you won't even believe it--will be a Junior in high school. We've been having a good summer (2013) so far, and so I thought we would stop back up chronicling what we're up to--with a new contributor or two!

So check back for family fun. :)
