Well, here it is, the end of February, and Isabelle--or Baby Belle, as Helena says--is almost 4 months. She is smiling, laughing, cooing and playing with toys and, in recent weeks, has been trying to roll onto her tummy! Of course, we have been ready with the camera:
After a 3/4 twist, she is back on her back, not quite sure how to get that one shoulder out from under her. . .
. . .until tonight!! I love her little somber looks.

When the head goes down, the diaper rises in the air. And I believe those knees were trying to get under her, too! (Uh oh!)
She reminds me a little of her aunt Megan, here:

My Mamie isn't rolling yet, though she's got the 3/4 twist down pat, and she's right there with Belle on vocalizing. :)
